Luis F. Pineda, M.D. P.C.:
Luis F. Pineda, M.D. started his career in hematology and oncology in 1982 at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, UAB. Our practice, Luis F. Pineda, M.D., P.C., was founded in 1995.
In 2000 he returned to school for his masters in Health and Science Administration. After completion of his MSHA in 2003 he enrolled in The Culinard Institute with Virginia College and became a Chef. Cooking with Cancer, INC. is a non profit organization founded by Dr. Pineda in 2005. The goal was to combine the art of cooking with his knowledge of medicine to create recipes for patients battling cancer.
Our current affiliations with local hospitals are Brookwood Medical Center, Physician's Carraway and St. Vincent's Hospital.
Dr. Pineda has dedicated the last twenty six years to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders. We are proud of the special group of people that make up our practice. Our goal is to provide a positive experience and atmosphere for the patient, family and friends of those we treat.
